A federal election is around the corner. These last few months as Foreign Affairs Minister and Defense Minister could be Mélanie Joly and Bill Blair’s last chance to end the Canada-Israel arms trade. Even while parliament is prorogued and most government activity has ground to a halt, Joly and Blair could enact an arms embargo any day, on their own. It’s time to force their hand.
